Pam and wayne osborn are underwater and wildlife photographers based in perth, western Australia and have travelled extensively to photograph whales in the Azores, Norway, tonga and the great barrier reef.
They have been frequent visitors to africa including kenya, tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, south Africa, Botswana and Namibia. They also travel regularly to dive in the biodiverse coral triangle region of Indonesia.
they have a long term interest in whale conservation and have been regular visitors to Exmouth in Western australia to document the humpback whale southern migration. Pam and wayne donate their images to research scientists including the centre for whale research WA.
In 2004 wayne was appointed an international fellow of the new york based explorers club for his long term interest in the marine environment. He served as the chair of the Australian Institute of marine science from 2010 to 2014.
Wayne was the Australian geographic Australian nature photographer of the year in 2012.
Their work had been used in numerous scientific publications and reference books.
